About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max model features a charcoal leather L-shaped sectional sofa, complete with decorative cushions and a throw blanket. This L-shaped sectional sofa presents a clean, contemporary profile finished in a deep charcoal leather upholstery. The design incorporates a modular chaise element on the left side, providing an extended seating area. The frame is low-profile with block-style armrests, creating a grounded aesthetic. Included in the set are several decorative cushions in varying grey tones and a light-coloured fabric throw blanket draped over the seat, adding textural contrast to the smooth leather surface. The cushions are voluminous, offering a plush appearance that balances the structured, linear form of the sofa base.

The download is an 18 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this model into a 3ds Max scene, ensure the object is placed at the correct floor level using vertex snapping. The leather and fabric materials are mapped with appropriate shaders; check the texture paths upon loading to confirm all bitmap assets are correctly linked. The cushions and throw are individual elements, allowing for adjustments to their arrangement or removal if a more minimalist look is required for specific interior visualisations.

Ideal for residential living room projects, this sectional provides a sophisticated centrepiece for open-plan layouts. Its dark, neutral colour palette works well in high-end apartments or hotel lounge areas where a sense of comfort and luxury is desired. Professionals searching for a versatile seating solution for modern interior design will find this asset useful for staging, as it pairs effectively with glass coffee tables or natural wood side tables to create a balanced, inviting social space.
