About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max model features an asymmetrical coffee table with a charcoal glass top and a dark wood base, including decor. The coffee table presents a distinct asymmetrical silhouette, defined by a dark, charcoal-tinted glass surface that spans the entire top. The base is constructed from a dark wood, featuring a subtle vertical grain texture that contrasts with the smooth, reflective nature of the glass. Included in the set are small decorative elements, specifically a glass bowl and a small lamp or accessory, alongside a book, which complete the curated look. The proportions are low-profile, typical of modern lounge furniture, making it a focal point in a seating arrangement.

The download is a 6.3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised with logical layer naming, allowing for easy selection of the table and decorative accessories independently. Users can adjust the glass material's reflection and refraction settings to suit specific lighting environments. The wood grain texture is mapped to follow the vertical form of the base, ensuring realistic results without needing extensive UV adjustments. The file is ready for insertion into scenes, with the pivot point placed at the base for efficient placement on floor planes.

This coffee table is suitable for high-end residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or executive lounge areas where a sophisticated, contemporary aesthetic is required. It pairs well with low-slung, minimalist sofas or modular seating systems. Professionals searching for a unique, asymmetrical centrepiece for interior visualisations will find this asset versatile, especially when styling modern, moody, or dark-toned living spaces. It functions effectively as a standalone piece or as part of a larger, curated interior scene.
