Contemporary Charcoal Fluted Sideboard with Gold Accents

This contemporary 3ds Max sideboard features a charcoal fluted exterior with refined gold accents and integrated open shelving. This contemporary sideboard presents a sophisticated profile defined by its dark charcoal finish and vertical fluted detailing across the facade. The unit incorporates a split storage configuration, featuring a closed cabinet section paired with an open, two-tier shelf compartment for display. Accents in polished gold provide a striking contrast, appearing as vertical handles, subtle trim along the base and top edges, and slender, tapered legs. The rounded corners soften the overall rectangular form, lending a polished, high-end aesthetic suitable for formal interiors. The model includes decorative accessories as shown, such as books and metallic sculptures.

The download is a 9.3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this model into a 3ds Max scene, ensure the object is placed on a level surface plane. The fluted geometry is mapped to maintain consistent vertical orientation, so verify UV coordinates if scaling the object significantly. Standard practice involves placing the sideboard on a dedicated layer for easy visibility toggling. Materials are applied using standard nodes; users should check that light reflections on the gold elements interact correctly with the scene's primary light sources to maintain the intended metallic sheen and material contrast.
