About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max media wall unit combines charcoal wood, white accents, and a marble backdrop with an integrated fireplace. This large-scale media wall features a symmetrical design with a central television mount set against a marble-patterned panel. The frame is finished in a dark charcoal wood tone, contrasted by crisp white structural elements. Flanking the central display are open shelving units with integrated lighting, ideal for displaying glassware and decorative objects. At the base, a linear electric fireplace insert is nestled within the cabinetry, providing a functional focal point. The assembly includes a dedicated lower shelf for media components and auxiliary equipment, maintaining a clean, clutter-free aesthetic for high-end interior spaces.

The download is a 50.4 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this unit is structured as a modular assembly, allowing for easy placement against a wall plane. Users should ensure the pivot point is aligned to the rear face for accurate positioning. The lighting components within the shelves are typically mapped to a separate layer, facilitating independent control of the emissive materials. Textures for the marble and wood finishes are standard, requiring basic UV mapping adjustments if scaled to fit custom room dimensions during the scene setup process.

This media wall is designed for high-end residential living rooms, luxury apartment lounges, or hotel suites where a strong architectural feature is required. It serves as a comprehensive solution for home entertainment and display storage, pairing well with minimalist or contemporary furniture arrangements. Architects and interior designers often specify such units to consolidate media equipment, heating elements, and display shelving into one cohesive wall assembly, effectively creating a sophisticated focal point for modern interior design projects.
