About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max side table features a cylindrical drum base wrapped in textured fabric and a circular wood veneer top. The piece exhibits a compact, cylindrical form designed as a versatile accent table. Its structural base is upholstered in a neutral, textured fabric, providing a soft contrast to the clean, circular tabletop finished in a natural wood veneer. The proportions are low and stable, suitable for lounge settings. The model includes a set of decorative books placed on the surface to provide scale and visual interest. The construction is straightforward, with the wood grain running consistently across the flat circular top, while the base maintains a uniform, woven textile appearance throughout its curved perimeter.

The download is a 22.5 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised with clear layer separation for the base and top components, allowing for easy material adjustments. Users should verify the texture mapping on the cylindrical base to ensure the fabric pattern remains seamless. It is best placed using standard snapping tools to align with other lounge furniture. The included book prop can be toggled or detached via the object hierarchy, providing flexibility for specific scene composition requirements without needing to modify the primary geometry of the table.

This side table is well-suited for residential living rooms, hotel lobbies, and boutique hospitality interiors where a soft, tactile aesthetic is required. It integrates effectively next to armchairs, sofas, or as a standalone pedestal for decorative objects. Professionals searching for accent furniture, drum-style tables, or soft-textured occasional pieces will find this asset useful for mid-century or contemporary interior visualisations. It pairs well with minimalist decor, providing a functional surface while adding warmth through its fabric-wrapped base and natural wood finish.
