About this asset

This contemporary brown velvet lounge chair scene for 3ds Max features a plush armchair paired with a minimalist side table and floor lamp. This lounge chair features a deep, cushioned seat and a tall, supportive backrest upholstered in a rich brown velvet fabric. The frame is constructed from light-toned natural wood, providing a structural contrast to the soft upholstery. Accompanying the seating is a sleek, black pedestal-style side table and a slender floor lamp with a dome-shaped shade. The composition includes a glass vase with greenery, adding a decorative touch to the ensemble. The proportions are balanced, designed for comfort and visual appeal in a relaxed, modern interior setting.

The download is a 17.5 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) scene, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this 3ds Max scene into your project, merge the file into your master scene and scale as necessary. Ensure the pivot points are correctly placed at the base of the objects for easy positioning. You can adjust the material parameters to suit your specific lighting environment, ensuring the velvet texture reacts correctly to your scene’s light sources. The individual components are typically grouped, allowing for easy selection, modification, or the removal of accessories if only the chair is required for your composition.
