Contemporary Brown Velvet Armchair with Dark Wood Frame

This contemporary 3ds Max armchair features a plush brown velvet seat shell supported by a sleek, dark-stained wooden frame. The chair exhibits a soft, organic silhouette with a deep, curved backrest that integrates seamlessly into sweeping armrests. The upholstery is a rich brown velvet, showcasing subtle light-catching textures and tonal variations. Supporting the seat is a robust, dark-stained timber frame with four tapered legs that provide a stable, minimalist foundation. Its proportions are compact yet comfortable, designed for relaxation. The joinery between the wooden frame and the upholstered shell is clean, highlighting a sophisticated balance between the tactile softness of the textile and the structured, linear quality of the wood.

Within 3ds Max, this model is organised with logical layer naming, allowing for easy selection of the seat and frame components. Users can adjust the material parameters to fine-tune the velvet's sheen or the wood's grain visibility. The asset is scaled for standard seating heights, making it straightforward to drop into a scene. Ensure the pivot point is set to the base of the legs for accurate placement on floor surfaces, and consider applying a subdivision modifier if closer camera angles are required.
