Contemporary Brown Leather Slatted Wood Bench

This contemporary 3ds Max bench features a rich brown leather seat cushion resting on a sturdy, slatted black wood frame structure. This compact bench combines a minimalist aesthetic with tactile material contrast. The seat consists of a rectangular, soft-edge cushion upholstered in warm, textured brown leather. This is supported by a rigid base composed of parallel horizontal wooden slats finished in a dark, near-black stain. The frame is lifted by four tapered, slightly splayed legs, which are joined to the slatted platform with visible mortise-and-tenon style joinery details. The proportions are low and wide, making it suitable for use as a footstool, an occasional seat, or a refined accent piece in a modern interior.

The download is a 28.3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this asset into a 3ds Max scene, import the model and assign the provided leather and wood texture maps to the corresponding geometry. Ensure the object pivot is set to the base of the legs for accurate placement on floor surfaces. For optimal results, apply a high-quality environment map to capture the subtle highlights on the leather surface. The model is structured into logical layers, allowing for individual adjustments to the cushion and the slatted frame elements during the rendering process.

This bench is an ideal addition to residential bedrooms, walk-in closets, or sophisticated entryway zones where a low-profile seating solution is required. It complements contemporary minimalist schemes and pairs effectively with mid-century or industrial interior styles. Designers frequently search for this type of accent piece when specifying furniture for boutique hotel lobbies, high-end waiting areas, or luxury executive suites. Its versatile form works well alongside platform beds, console tables, or as a standalone piece in a curated reading corner or dressing area.
