About this asset

This contemporary SketchUp model features a blush fabric upholstered platform bed with an integrated headboard and floor-level surround. This platform bed set features a low-profile, modular-style design wrapped entirely in a soft-touch blush fabric. The architecture consists of a wide, integrated headboard and an expansive base that extends beyond the mattress perimeter, creating a built-in bench effect. The configuration includes a layered bedding set with quilted textures in sage and neutral tones, complemented by two circular floor cushions in tan and charcoal. The ensemble is completed by a minimalist pendant light with spherical glass shades and integrated electrical wall plates, offering a cohesive, modern bedroom aesthetic with soft, rounded forms.

The download is a 122 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

When working in SketchUp, use the components to manage the layered geometry of the bed and bedding separately. Ensure the base is aligned to the floor plane and use the native materials editor to adjust the fabric texture scales for high-resolution renders. The bed is designed as a single asset, allowing for quick placement in bedroom scenes; however, consider exploding the group to adjust the layout of the cushions or to swap the bedding textures for project-specific variations.

This asset is suitable for high-end residential master bedrooms, boutique hotel suites, and contemporary interior design visualisations. It pairs effectively with minimalist side tables and soft, ambient lighting setups. Professionals searching for low-profile, upholstered, or modular bedding solutions will find this model ideal for establishing a relaxed, luxurious atmosphere in modern architectural renders. It serves as a central focal point, easily adaptable to various colour palettes by modifying the fabric shaders within a rendering workflow to match specific design schemes.
