About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max lounge chair features blush fabric upholstery and a distinctive rattan-patterned back panel. Defined by its curved, enveloping silhouette, this lounge chair combines soft tactile surfaces with structural detailing. The deep, blush-toned fabric seat and backrest are supported by a dark wood frame, while the exterior back is finished with an integrated rattan-style panel. The seat sits on tapered dark wood legs with subtle metallic caps. Its proportions are compact yet comfortable, making it suitable for intimate seating arrangements. The design balances modern minimalism with textural contrast, providing a sophisticated profile that works well from all angles in a residential or high-end commercial interior.

The download is a 12.2 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Designed for 3ds Max, this model is structured with logical layer naming to facilitate easy scene organisation. Users should apply high-resolution textures to the fabric and wood components to ensure realistic light interaction in final renders. The chair is scaled to standard ergonomic dimensions, allowing for straightforward placement within interior scenes. It is recommended to check the pivot point upon insertion and use standard material mapping to adjust the scale of the rattan texture if necessary to match the desired render output.

This piece is ideal for residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, and executive lounge areas where a statement accent chair is required. It pairs effectively with marble-topped side tables or minimalist floor lamps to create a focused reading nook or conversation zone. Designers searching for elegant, textured seating will find this model versatile for both modern and transitional design schemes. It serves as an excellent focal point in staged interior visualisations, providing warmth and visual interest to neutral colour palettes.
