About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max armchair features a blush fabric seat and a curved rattan backrest supported by a slim metal frame. Defined by its elegant, rounded silhouette, this armchair balances soft textures with structured materials. The seat cushion is upholstered in a blush-toned fabric, providing a comfortable, slightly recessed profile. Wrapping around the back is a distinctive cane-style rattan panel, framed by a dark, slender metal structure that extends into simple, clean-lined legs. The contrast between the organic, airy weave of the rattan and the solid, plush cushion creates a sophisticated aesthetic. Its compact form makes it an ideal accent piece, offering both visual interest and practical seating for refined interior spaces.

The download is a 12.1 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this model into a 3ds Max scene, merge the file into your project workspace, ensuring the unit scale matches your master file settings. The model is organised with logical layer naming, allowing for easy selection of the fabric, metal, and rattan components. Apply custom shaders to the mesh geometry to suit your specific render engine requirements. When positioning, use the base of the legs as the primary snap point to ensure the chair sits flush against the finished floor surface.
