About this asset

This 3ds Max dining set features a round walnut-topped table with a brass pedestal base and two blue velvet-upholstered chairs. This three-piece dining set includes a round table and two matching chairs, defined by a contemporary aesthetic. The table features a dark walnut veneer top supported by a slim, gold-finished metal pedestal base with a circular floor plate. The chairs are upholstered in a pale blue velvet, featuring integrated armrests and a curved backrest that flows into the seat. Each chair is supported by four tapered, dark-toned metal legs. The proportions are compact, making this set suitable for smaller breakfast nooks, intimate lounge areas, or high-end hospitality environments where space is at a premium.

The download is a 12.5 MB file containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 3 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this model into a 3ds Max project, import the assets using the native merge command to maintain layer structure. The textures are mapped for standard material editors; check the UVW map coordinates upon insertion to ensure the wood grain and velvet pile orientation align correctly. For optimal lighting, place the set within a scene using a high-dynamic-range image for natural reflections on the metallic pedestal base, and adjust light intensity to highlight the velvet fabric's subtle texture and depth.

Ideal for residential dining rooms, boutique hotel suites, or modern cafe interiors, this set serves as an elegant focal point in compact floor plans. Professionals often search for this configuration when detailing luxury apartments or hospitality projects requiring a sophisticated, small-scale dining solution. It pairs well with minimalist wall treatments or metallic accent lighting. The combination of velvet and wood provides a warm, tactile contrast that works effectively in both neutral and bold interior palettes, particularly in contemporary or transitional design schemes.
