Contemporary Blue Velvet Armchair with Dark Wood Frame

This contemporary 3ds Max model of an armchair features blue velvet upholstery and a dark wood frame, ideal for refined interior projects. This compact armchair is defined by its deep, curved silhouette and low-profile backrest. The seat and back are upholstered in a textured, soft blue velvet, providing a luxurious tactile quality. A polished dark-stained wooden frame wraps around the exterior, integrating seamlessly into the tapered, elegant legs that provide structural support. The design balances soft, rounded forms with sharp, angular timber elements, creating a sophisticated aesthetic suitable for high-end residential interiors. Its scale is modest, making it an effective choice for smaller lounge areas or as a singular accent piece in a larger room.

Within 3ds Max, this model is structured for efficient scene integration, typically using standard object naming conventions for easy layer management. Professionals should ensure the pivot point is set to the base of the legs for accurate placement on floor planes. Materials are assigned as distinct sub-objects, allowing for quick adjustments to the velvet gloss or the timber finish reflectivity. The geometry is clean, ensuring compatibility with standard scene lighting setups and enabling quick rendering tests without excessive overhead or complex geometry cleanup requirements.
