About this asset

This contemporary L-shaped sofa with chaise is a SketchUp model featuring blue fabric upholstery and integrated wooden base detailing. This L-shaped sectional sofa presents a low-profile, clean-lined aesthetic suitable for modern living spaces. The design incorporates a chaise lounge element on the right side, upholstered in a textured blue fabric. A sturdy wooden frame supports the base, visible at the lower edges. The configuration is accessorised with a collection of throw cushions in contrasting brown and cream tones, alongside a draped plaid throw blanket. The set includes a small marble-topped coffee table, a sculptural branching pendant light, and a potted plant, creating a cohesive, pre-composed lounge vignette for immediate placement in interior visualisations.

The download is a 35 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, this model is organised into logical groups for efficient manipulation. Users should ensure the component is scaled correctly to their project dimensions upon importing. Materials are applied to faces, allowing for easy texture swapping or colour adjustments via the material editor. The scene is set up with grouped assets, enabling the designer to extract the sofa independently or use the entire assembly as a ready-made focal point for presentation renderings or quick conceptual layouts.

Ideal for residential interior design projects, this sectional sofa works well in open-plan living rooms, apartment lounges, or professional staging environments. It pairs naturally with minimalist or contemporary decor schemes, providing a balanced visual weight. Search terms such as 'modern sectional', 'living room furniture set', or 'blue L-shaped sofa' will assist in locating this asset.
