About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max console table features a black marble top and sculptural wooden base, accompanied by a detailed ship model. The console table exhibits a distinct sculptural silhouette, defined by a series of interlocking circular wooden supports that create a rhythmic, open-frame base. A polished black marble slab forms the rectangular tabletop, providing a high-contrast surface for the included decorative ship model. The vessel itself is a multi-masted sailing ship, rendered with intricate rigging, fabric-textured sails, and a detailed hull. The combination of warm-toned wood grain and the cool, dark stone creates a sophisticated aesthetic suitable for formal interior spaces that require a strong, singular focal point.

The download is a 16 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Users can import this 3ds Max model into their scene as a single merged object or separate the ship from the table to use them independently. The geometry is clean, allowing for easy placement against walls or in open floor plans. To achieve optimal realism, apply custom materials to the wood and marble surfaces if the default shaders require adjustment for specific lighting environments. Ensure the model is scaled correctly to match the project's floor-to-ceiling heights before final rendering.

This piece works best in grand residential entryways, luxury hotel lobbies, or high-end office reception areas where a statement console table is required. It pairs effectively with minimalist wall art or large mirrors to anchor a formal interior composition. Design professionals typically search for this type of asset when styling transitional or contemporary living zones that require nautical-inspired accessories or sculptural furniture elements to break up vertical lines and add visual interest to a transitional space.
