Contemporary Black Leather 3-Seater Sofa

This contemporary 3-seater sofa is a SketchUp model featuring black leather upholstery and a minimalist metal frame design. This contemporary 3-seater sofa features a clean, linear silhouette with deep, rectangular seat cushions and matching backrests. The upholstery is finished in a smooth black leather, providing a structured yet comfortable appearance. It is supported by a slender, polished metal base that elevates the frame, adding to its lightweight aesthetic. The proportions are balanced for standard living room configurations, with integrated armrests that maintain the sofa's sharp, geometric profile. The construction appears robust, suitable for high-end interior visualisations where a refined, modern seating solution is required to anchor a space.

The download is a 40.8 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

When integrating this SketchUp model into a project, ensure the component is placed on a dedicated layer for easy visibility control. The geometry is clean, allowing for straightforward material replacement or texture mapping if custom leather finishes are needed. Use the scale tool to adjust dimensions to fit specific room layouts, and leverage the native SketchUp groups to manage the sofa and its base components separately for efficient rendering and lighting setup within your preferred visualisation plugin.

This sofa is ideal for modern residential living rooms, executive office lounges, or boutique hotel lobbies. Its neutral, sophisticated black finish pairs well with marble-top coffee tables, textured area rugs, and minimalist decor. Professionals will find this asset useful during the schematic design and design development stages for creating realistic interior scenes.
