Contemporary Black Glass Nesting Coffee Table Set in Gold

This contemporary 3ds Max coffee table set features two round nesting units with black glass tops and brushed gold metal accents. This nesting coffee table set consists of two circular units designed with a sophisticated, layered profile. The larger table features a wide, cylindrical base finished in matte black, topped with a dark smoked glass surface framed by a slender gold-toned metal trim. The smaller, slightly elevated table mirrors this aesthetic but sits on a distinct, angular base structure, allowing it to slide partially underneath the primary unit. The clean lines and monochromatic palette create a refined look, while the metallic detailing provides a subtle contrast against the deep black surfaces of the glass.

The download is an 18.3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical layers for easy manipulation of the table components and associated decor. Users can adjust the nesting configuration by translating the smaller table along the X and Y axes to suit specific floor plans. The glass materials are set up with reflection and refraction channels, allowing for quick adjustments to the glossiness or transparency settings within the material editor. Ensure the pivot points are correctly aligned to the floor plane before placing the assets into the scene.

These nesting tables are ideal for high-end residential living rooms, boutique hotel lounges, or modern office reception areas. They offer flexible surface space, making them practical for compact apartments or open-plan seating arrangements where modularity is required. The set pairs effectively with low-profile contemporary sofas, velvet armchairs, or minimalist rugs. Designers often search for these items when looking for luxury coffee tables that provide a focal point without overwhelming a space, particularly in projects focusing on elegant, urban interior design aesthetics.
