Contemporary Black and Wood Reception Desk Set

This contemporary reception desk set for SketchUp features a sleek black finish with wood accents, designed for professional lobbies. This reception desk set consists of two distinct units: a primary angular reception counter with a faceted wood-paneled front and a secondary administrative workstation. Both pieces share a consistent material palette of matte black surfaces complemented by warm wood grain detailing. The administrative unit includes integrated storage pedestals, central keyboard trays, and open bays for tower computers, ensuring a clutter-free workspace. The overall aesthetic is geometric and sharp, with angled profiles that provide a modern, high-end appearance suitable for corporate environments. Potted floral arrangements are included as decorative accessories on both surfaces.

The download is a 39.2 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate this model into a SketchUp scene, use the component browser to import the file and position it relative to the lobby entrance or reception area. Since the units are provided as a set, users can explode the components to isolate individual desks or adjust the arrangement. Ensure materials are mapped correctly within the native editor and check that the geometry is oriented to allow for efficient lighting placement, particularly for highlighting the faceted wood-grain detail on the front panel.
