About this asset

This contemporary SketchUp console table features a sleek black glass top supported by an expressive, sculptural gold metal base. Defined by a striking contrast between materials, this console table showcases a thin, polished black glass surface that sits atop an organic, sweeping base finished in a vibrant metallic gold. The base consists of flowing, interconnected curved elements that provide visual weight and a sense of movement, creating a strong focal point. The proportions are balanced for placement against a wall, offering a slim profile suitable for narrow circulation spaces or as a decorative anchor in a grand entrance. The clean lines of the top complement the complexity of the pedestal structure below.

The download is a 4 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this component is structured with clear geometry, allowing for easy placement against interior walls. Users can adjust the material properties via the materials panel to refine the gold finish or glass reflection settings. Given the sculptural nature of the base, ensure the model is positioned on a flat floor plane for correct alignment. It is recommended to use the component as a single group to maintain file efficiency while navigating complex interior scenes or setting up specific camera views.

Ideal for high-end residential foyers, luxury hotel lobbies, or curated retail showroom displays, this console table serves as an elegant surface for decorative objects or lighting. It pairs effectively with minimalist wall art or large circular mirrors to enhance its sculptural geometry. Design professionals often search for this type of statement piece when styling sophisticated interiors, upscale hallways, or executive office reception areas where a blend of functional surface space and artistic form is required to create a lasting architectural impression.
