About this asset

This contemporary king-size bed, modelled for 3ds Max, features a clean-lined beige fabric upholstered frame and a dual-panel headboard. This king-size bed presents a balanced, contemporary aesthetic defined by its fully upholstered frame. The headboard consists of two distinct, slightly padded rectangular panels, finished with precise piping along the edges that suggests a tailored construction. The base is low-profile, maintaining a grounded appearance. The model includes a comprehensive bedding set: a smooth beige duvet, a textured houndstooth-patterned throw at the foot, and an assortment of pillows including two large square cushions and a central rectangular lumbar pillow featuring a subtle, dark-toned graphic detail that anchors the neutral palette.

The download is a 47.2 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is structured with logical layering, allowing for easy separation of the bed frame from the bedding components. Users should verify the scale against the project floor plan upon insertion, as the upholstered elements are detailed. The fabric textures are mapped to accommodate standard tiling, and the geometry is optimised for efficient viewport navigation. Lighting setups should focus on soft, ambient occlusion to define the subtle depth of the headboard panels and the folds in the textile surfaces.

Ideal for master suite visualisations in high-end residential projects or luxury hotel room designs, this bed serves as a neutral, sophisticated focal point. It pairs well with minimalist bedside tables and soft, layered lighting schemes. Designers searching for a versatile, modern sleeping solution will find this asset suitable for staging contemporary apartments or boutique hospitality suites. It integrates seamlessly into scenes requiring a clean, comfortable, and well-proportioned furniture piece that avoids overly decorative or cluttered stylistic elements.
