About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max bench features beige fabric upholstery and a contrasting brown bolster backrest with a draped throw. This low-profile bench is defined by its clean, linear geometry and layered textures. The seat is upholstered in a neutral beige fabric, featuring vertical channel tufting that adds subtle rhythm to the piece. A long, cylindrical bolster in a deep brown fabric serves as the backrest, resting directly atop the seat. The entire assembly is supported by a recessed dark wood plinth base. A decorative houndstooth-patterned throw is draped over the centre, providing a classic textile contrast to the minimalist form. Its proportions are compact, making it suitable for versatile interior arrangements.

The download is a 10.3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised with logical layer naming to facilitate easy manipulation of the seat, bolster, and base components. Users can adjust the fabric shaders to suit specific lighting conditions or apply custom textures to the wood plinth. The geometry is clean, allowing for efficient placement within larger interior scenes without excessive overhead. When integrating, ensure the pivot point is set to the base for easy alignment with floor surfaces or against wall partitions in your project files.

Ideal for residential entryways, bedrooms at the foot of a bed, or boutique hotel lobbies, this bench serves as a functional accent piece. It pairs effectively with modern minimalist interiors, providing both seating and a tactile element. Designers often specify this style for transitional spaces where a low-profile silhouette is required to maintain sightlines.
