Contemporary Beige Fabric Modular Three-Seater Sofa

This contemporary 3ds Max sofa model features a low-profile modular design upholstered in a textured beige fabric with two cushions. Defined by its low-profile, boxy silhouette, this modular sofa consists of three distinct seating units joined to create a linear three-seater configuration. Each section features a deep seat and a rounded, cylindrical backrest that spans the width of the individual module. The upholstery is a neutral, textured beige fabric that provides a tactile, organic aesthetic. Two square scatter cushions are included, positioned on the outer ends to soften the geometric lines of the backrests. The overall composition is minimalist, focusing on clean volumes and a balanced, low-slung proportion suitable for open-plan living environments.

The download is a 2.5 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this model into 3ds Max, ensure the pivot point is centered at the base for efficient placement within the scene. Users should apply a standard UVW map modifier to maintain the fabric texture scale across the modular segments. The geometry is clean, allowing for easy adjustment of the modular arrangement if a different configuration is required. Lighting should be set up to emphasize the soft shadows cast by the rounded backrests, utilizing high-quality ambient occlusion to define the seams between the individual sofa components.
