About this asset

This contemporary SketchUp model features a layered curtain set with a central roman blind and side drapes in neutral tones. The assembly comprises a central textured roman blind in a soft beige, flanked by two pairs of floor-to-ceiling curtains. The inner pair is rendered in a deep, dark brown fabric, while the outer pair is finished in a lighter, off-white or cream textile. Each panel features realistic vertical pleats and soft folds, suggesting a high-quality, heavy-weight fabric construction. The arrangement covers a standard window opening, providing a complete window treatment solution that balances privacy with light control. The overall aesthetic is clean and modern, suitable for sophisticated interior design schemes.

The download is a 89.9 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model functions as a grouped component that can be easily scaled to fit various window widths and heights. Users should check the face orientation to ensure textures map correctly and apply materials using the paint bucket tool if further customisation is required. The geometry is optimised for standard architectural visualisations, allowing for quick placement in front of window openings. Consider adjusting the transparency of the fabric textures if you need to simulate different levels of light filtration or opacity.

These window treatments are ideal for residential living rooms, master bedrooms, and high-end hotel suites where a layered look adds texture and depth. They pair well with minimalist or contemporary furniture, providing a soft contrast to hard surfaces like timber floors or stone walls. Professionals looking for window dressing assets will find this set useful for interior staging, architectural rendering, and concept visualisations.
