About this asset

This 3ds Max model presents a classic 3-seater sofa featuring a tufted cream fabric back, dark polished wood framing, and decorative cushions. Defined by its traditional silhouette, this three-seater sofa combines a tufted, button-back design with a smooth, cream-coloured fabric seat. The structure is supported by a dark, polished wood frame that extends into elegant, curved armrests and cabriole-style legs. The backrest features a gentle curve, while the overall aesthetic is anchored by the contrast between the light upholstery and the deep, glossy wood finish. Four matching square scatter cushions in a complementary soft blue-grey hue are included, adding texture and depth to the seating arrangement while maintaining a formal, sophisticated appearance.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical layers for easy manipulation. Users can adjust the fabric mapping on the seat and back cushions independently to suit specific interior lighting setups. The wooden frame is assigned a separate material ID, allowing for quick adjustments to the glossiness or wood grain texture. Ensure the pivot point is correctly aligned at the base for seamless placement on floor surfaces, and consider applying a light ambient occlusion pass to accentuate the deep button tufting.

This sofa is ideal for formal living rooms, luxury hotel lobbies, or upscale residential suites where a traditional aesthetic is required. It pairs well with mahogany side tables, ornate area rugs, and classic wall panelling.
