About this asset

This contemporary charcoal grey wardrobe for 3ds Max features louvered door detailing and an integrated desk workstation unit. This floor-to-ceiling storage unit combines a two-door wardrobe with a built-in study nook. The wardrobe doors feature a horizontal louvered texture, while the upper section includes three additional storage cupboards. A recessed desk area is carved into the right side, topped with open shelving for books or decor. Finished in a matte charcoal grey, the piece is accented by small, round metallic hardware. The design provides a cohesive look for tight spaces, merging clothing storage and a dedicated workspace into a single, streamlined footprint that maintains a clean, minimalist silhouette.

The download is a 32.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised with logical layer naming, allowing for easy selection of the wardrobe carcass, desk surface, and hardware. Users should ensure the pivot points are correctly placed at the base for accurate positioning against walls. The louvered textures are mapped for realistic light interaction, though users may need to adjust the material reflection settings to suit their specific interior lighting environment. The model is scaled for standard room heights, making it ready for immediate placement in residential floor plans.

Ideal for small bedrooms, home offices, or studio apartments, this combination unit is a practical solution for multi-functional living spaces. It works well in contemporary residential projects where floor area is at a premium. Designers often specify this type of furniture when creating compact guest rooms or children's study areas. Use search terms like 'integrated workstation', 'bedroom storage unit', or 'space-saving wardrobe' to find similar hybrid furniture pieces when planning efficient layouts for modern homes or high-density residential developments.
