About this asset

This contemporary beige fabric L-shaped sectional sofa for 3ds Max features a modular configuration with integrated cushions and throws. Designed with clean, architectural lines, this L-shaped sectional sofa offers a balanced, low-profile silhouette suitable for modern living spaces. The upholstery is a neutral-toned, textured fabric in a soft beige hue, complemented by a selection of scatter cushions in varying shades of grey and off-white. The modular design includes an extended chaise section on the left, providing ample lounge space. The overall form is minimalist, focusing on deep seating and soft, rounded edges that soften the geometry of the piece while maintaining a structured, cohesive aesthetic for interior layouts.

The download is a 36.7 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

The model is structured with logical layer separation, allowing for easy selection and modification of the main sofa body versus the individual scatter cushions and throws. Users can apply custom fabric shaders via the material editor to match specific project colour palettes. The geometry is clean, supporting efficient viewport navigation and standard lighting setups. Ensure the pivot point is aligned with the floor plane for accurate placement within the scene, and use standard mapping modifiers to adjust texture scale as required.

Ideal for residential living rooms, open-plan apartments, and high-end hotel lobby seating areas, this sectional sofa provides a versatile anchor for neutral-toned interior designs. It pairs effectively with low-profile coffee tables, area rugs, and minimalist floor lamps. Professionals searching for comfortable, contemporary lounge furniture will find this asset useful for staging architectural visualizations and interior design presentations. It serves as a primary seating element in both large family spaces and compact urban dwellings, offering a timeless look that integrates seamlessly into various contemporary styles.
