About this asset

This Bohemian hanging chair is a detailed SketchUp model featuring a woven macrame seat and a natural wood circular frame. This hanging chair features a circular wooden frame that supports a tightly woven macrame net seat and backrest. The design incorporates decorative tassel fringes along the lower edge, enhancing its bohemian aesthetic. The chair is suspended by thick, braided rope cords that converge at a single overhead point, allowing for a natural, relaxed seating position. The off-white cord contrasts against the warm, natural-wood tone of the structural ring, creating a balanced, tactile appearance. Its lightweight visual profile makes it an ideal choice for adding texture and relaxed seating to interior or covered outdoor spaces.

The download is a 23.6 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, this component is structured as a group, allowing for easy placement and rotation. Users can apply custom materials to the wood frame or the rope mesh using the paint bucket tool to better suit specific project palettes. Because it is a hanging asset, ensure the model is correctly anchored to a ceiling component or a support beam within your scene. Adjust the scale if necessary to match the ergonomic requirements of your specific interior layout and desired visual composition.

This piece is well-suited for relaxed residential living areas, sunrooms, or boutique hotel balconies where a casual, organic seating element is required.
