Contemporary Grey Fabric L-Shaped Sofa Living Room Scene

This contemporary living room scene is a fully assembled SketchUp model featuring a grey sectional sofa, brown leather armchair, and cabinetry. This comprehensive interior scene centres on a modular L-shaped sofa upholstered in light grey fabric, complemented by a contrast brown leather lounge chair on a wire-frame base. The composition includes a dark charcoal square ottoman with a white frame, a glass-topped coffee table, and a low-profile timber sideboard. A floor-to-ceiling shelving unit adds verticality, balanced by a large area rug in textured grey tones. The layout is finished with soft Roman blinds and integrated greenery, creating a cohesive, neutral-toned living space that demonstrates a balanced approach to furniture scale and material variety.

The download is a 122 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Users can integrate this scene directly into SketchUp workflows as a reference for spatial planning or as a base for custom interior renders. The file is structured to allow for the easy isolation of individual assets, enabling designers to swap components or adjust the layout to fit specific project requirements. Standard material application and layer management practices apply, allowing for quick adjustments to textures or lighting parameters to match a project's specific aesthetic requirements and render engine settings.

This scene is ideal for residential interior design projects, high-end apartment visualisations, and hotel lounge concepts. It serves as an effective starting point for architects and interior designers needing to populate open-plan living areas quickly. Professionals searching for neutral, sophisticated living room layouts will find this model useful for demonstrating furniture configurations, spatial flow, and material palettes. It pairs well with minimalist or contemporary architectural styles and provides a high-quality foundation for both client presentations and detailed design development.
