About this asset

This bohemian macrame wall hanging 3ds Max model features intricate rope weaving suspended from a natural timber dowel rod. Constructed from a series of knotted cotton ropes, this wall hanging displays a complex pattern of braided and open-weave sections. The composition integrates earthy tones including deep blue, warm brown, and off-white, finished with a textured fringe at the base. The textile is suspended from a simple, rectangular-profile wooden dowel, which is secured by a central rope loop. The piece measures approximately square in proportion, with the varying knot densities creating a layered, organic aesthetic that contrasts against the linear structure of the wooden support beam.

The download is an 8.1 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this asset is provided as a single geometry object, allowing for straightforward placement on wall surfaces within a scene. Users should ensure the pivot point is aligned with the top hanging loop for easy positioning. The material utilizes standard texture maps for the rope fibers; verify that the UV mapping is maintained during scaling to avoid distortion of the knot patterns. Adjust the lighting intensity to highlight the depth and shadow cast by the intricate ropework.
