About this asset

This contemporary floor-length curtain SketchUp model features a double-layer design with sheer white and opaque green fabric panels. This window treatment set consists of a dual-layer system, combining a translucent white sheer curtain with heavier, opaque green drapes. The design features elegant pinch pleats at the top, creating soft, uniform vertical folds that drape naturally to the floor. The contrast between the light, airy inner layer and the deep-toned outer layer provides both privacy and light control. The geometry is clean and realistic, capturing the weight and texture of fabric through subtle variations in the pleat depth and hemline, suitable for high-quality interior architectural visualisations.

The download is a 32.8 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, this component is best managed by placing it against a window frame group. Users should ensure the curtains are scaled correctly to match the floor-to-ceiling height of the project. Apply materials via the SketchUp material editor to adjust transparency for the sheer layer and reflection settings for the opaque drapes. Using tags to separate the inner and outer layers allows for easy toggling between open and closed states during the design iteration process.

These curtains are ideal for high-end residential living rooms, master bedrooms, and hotel suites where a layered window treatment adds depth and warmth. They pair effectively with contemporary interiors, complementing both minimalist and classic wall paneling styles. Professionals searching for drapery assets for interior design renders will find this model useful for adding realism to window scenes. It is particularly effective in projects requiring a sophisticated, finished look in living areas or dining spaces where natural light is a key feature.
