About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max armchair features a blush pink velvet upholstery and a distinct geometric decorative figurine on the seat. This contemporary armchair features a clean, block-like silhouette with straight armrests and a structured backrest. The piece is fully upholstered in a textured blush pink velvet, which provides a soft, tactile finish. A small, stylized white dog-shaped figurine is placed on the seat cushion, serving as a decorative accent. The proportions are compact, making it suitable for intimate seating arrangements. The design relies on simple, geometric forms that highlight the material quality of the fabric, creating a balanced and inviting aesthetic for modern living spaces or boutique bedroom interiors.

The download is a 4.9 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is managed as a single asset group. Users should ensure the velvet material shaders are correctly linked to the texture paths upon import. The object is scaled to standard dimensions, allowing for straightforward placement within a scene. It is best to maintain the geometry on a dedicated layer to manage visibility during complex interior visualisations, and users can easily swap the decorative figurine or adjust the fabric's bump and reflection maps to suit specific lighting conditions.

This armchair is ideal for residential living rooms, master bedrooms, or boutique hotel suites where a touch of soft colour is required. It pairs well with minimalist or contemporary side tables and neutral-toned rugs. Designers often specify this style for 'accent chair' or 'lounge seating' search requirements in projects ranging from high-end residential to boutique commercial interiors. Its modest footprint makes it a versatile choice for filling awkward corners or creating a focal point in a reading nook.
