About this asset

This contemporary double-layered fabric curtain SketchUp model features a combination of sheer white and opaque blue-beige panels. This window treatment set consists of a dual-layer configuration designed to provide both privacy and light diffusion. The inner layer is a lightweight, semi-transparent white sheer fabric that allows soft daylight into the space. The outer layer features a two-tone design, with a primary light blue panel complemented by a darker beige-brown bottom trim. The fabric is modelled with realistic vertical folds and drapes, suggesting a heavy, high-quality textile. The set is presented as a complete assembly, suitable for immediate placement over standard window configurations in a variety of interior settings.

The download is a 75.4 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is managed as a single component or group, allowing for easy scaling to match specific window heights and widths. The fabric textures are mapped to handle light transparency, which can be adjusted via the material editor to control the degree of light filtration. Users should place the curtain assembly on a dedicated layer to manage scene complexity, ensuring that the transparency settings do not conflict with other glass materials or lighting setups in the final render.

These curtains are suitable for residential living rooms, master bedrooms, and hotel suites where a layered aesthetic is required. They pair well with minimalist or contemporary interior styles, providing a soft, tactile element to clean architectural lines. Professionals often search for these assets when detailing high-end residential projects or hospitality interiors that require realistic window treatments. They are effective for adding depth to interior visualisations, particularly when positioned to catch natural light from a window or balcony door.
