Black Timber Retail Display Cabinet with Fabric Curtains

This contemporary black timber retail display cabinet in 3ds Max features dual storage towers flanking a central fabric curtain partition. Designed for textile or apparel merchandising, this display unit consists of two vertical black timber towers featuring multiple open shelves for fabric rolls or folded garments. A solid base cabinet sits beneath the open shelving on both sides. Centered between the towers is a semi-circular overhead canopy housing integrated lighting, which supports soft, draped fabric curtains. The design creates a structured yet tactile presentation space, balancing the rigid, dark timber frame with the organic folds of the suspended textile elements. The proportions are tall and slender, intended for wall-mounted retail applications.

The download is a 41.1 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is structured with logical layer separation for the timber frame, shelving, and fabric components. Users can easily adjust the fabric curtain geometry or modify the shelf spacing to accommodate different product sizes. Materials are applied as standard shaders, allowing for quick substitution of wood grain textures or fabric swatches to match specific interior branding. Ensure the lighting objects within the canopy are instances to allow for global intensity adjustments across the scene during final rendering setups.
