About this asset

This contemporary grey velvet upholstered double bed for 3ds Max features a low-profile frame and integrated fabric headboard. Defined by its clean, low-profile silhouette, this double bed is fully upholstered in a tactile grey velvet fabric. The design incorporates a wide, split-panel headboard that provides a structured backdrop to the plush bedding ensemble. The set includes a neutral-toned mattress cover, a soft tan throw blanket, and a decorative houndstooth-patterned knit throw draped over the foot. The overall aesthetic is restrained and sophisticated, focusing on soft textures and a monochromatic palette that transitions seamlessly from modern to transitional bedroom interiors. Its balanced proportions ensure it serves as a central focal point.

The download is a 56.4 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this model into 3ds Max, ensure the scene units match the native scale for proper placement. The bed is provided as a single cohesive unit, allowing for efficient insertion into bedroom scenes. Users should manage the velvet and fabric textures within the material editor to adjust reflectivity and bump maps for specific render engine requirements. The geometry is clean, supporting standard lighting setups and camera angles without requiring complex mesh cleanup or re-mapping of the primary fabric surfaces.
