About this asset

This japandi-style 3ds Max coffee table set features a ribbed black wood surface, floor cushions, and curated decorative accessories. This set features a low-profile, rectangular coffee table constructed from dark, ribbed timber, evoking a refined japandi aesthetic. The table is accompanied by two square, grey fabric-upholstered floor cushions, designed for informal seating arrangements. The ensemble is completed with a selection of decorative items, including a large potted plant, a metallic bowl, books, and a sculptural object. The dark wood finish provides a stark contrast to the neutral grey textiles and natural plant elements, creating a balanced and serene composition suitable for modern living spaces or lounge areas.

The download is an 11.3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

This 3ds Max asset is organised for efficient scene integration, with components grouped logically to allow for easy placement or individual adjustment. Users can leverage the native material definitions to refine the wood grain and fabric textures within the material editor. The model is scaled for standard interior environments, making it straightforward to drag and drop into a larger scene. Lighting should be adjusted to highlight the ribbed texture of the timber and the soft, diffuse quality of the fabric cushions.

Ideal for residential projects, this set works well in living rooms, meditation spaces, or informal lounge areas where a low-seating arrangement is desired. It pairs effectively with minimalist interior designs or contemporary spaces requiring a focal point with organic textures. Architects and interior designers might search for this when specifying furniture for open-plan layouts, loft apartments, or boutique hotel suites that prioritise comfort and tactile materials. The set is particularly effective for visualising calm, uncluttered residential environments at the concept or final rendering stage.
