Black Metal and Wood Wall-Mounted Shelving Unit

This industrial-style wall-mounted shelving unit for 3ds Max features a black metal frame with dark wood shelves and decorative accessories. This wall-mounted shelving unit features a modular industrial aesthetic, constructed from a slender black metal framework that supports multiple dark wood shelves. The design includes two vertical columns of staggered shelving, providing an open, airy profile suitable for wall display. The unit comes fully populated with various decorative objects, including hardback books, potted indoor plants, and small sculptural items, which add layers of visual interest. The proportions are vertical and narrow, making it an efficient choice for tight wall spaces where vertical storage is required without the bulk of a full-height cabinet.

The download is a 180 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical layers, allowing for the easy separation of the shelving structure from the decorative props if necessary. Users can adjust the scale to fit specific wall heights or duplicate the vertical sections to create a wider storage arrangement. Materials are standard for the native format, requiring simple pathing to the provided texture maps. Ensure the pivot point is positioned at the rear face for accurate placement against wall geometry within the scene hierarchy.

Ideal for residential living rooms, home offices, or boutique retail environments, this shelving unit serves as an effective display for books, plants, and decor. It pairs well with other industrial-inspired furniture pieces, such as metal-framed desks or leather seating. Designers looking for versatile, open-storage solutions will find this asset useful for staging contemporary interiors where a balance between functionality and aesthetic display is essential.
