Black Lacquer and Rattan Dining Set with Four Chairs

This contemporary 3ds Max dining set features a black lacquer rectangular table and four cane-back chairs with fabric cushions. This dining set comprises a rectangular table with a high-gloss black lacquer finish and four matching armchairs. The chairs are defined by their curved, open-weave rattan backrests and upholstered seat cushions in a muted brown fabric. Each chair is supported by slender, tapered legs with subtle metallic accents at the feet. The table features turned leg detailing and a clean-lined apron, maintaining a balanced aesthetic between classic form and modern finish. The set is accessorised with two pendant lights, a floral centrepiece, and books, providing a cohesive, ready-to-use arrangement for interior visualisation projects.

The download is a 31.4 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 5 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Users can import this 3ds Max model directly into their scene, ensuring the geometry is scaled correctly to standard dining height. The textures for the rattan, lacquer, and fabric are pre-assigned, allowing for immediate integration into a render setup. For optimal results, apply a high-quality environment map to capture the reflections on the black table surface and adjust the light intensity for the included pendant luminaires to achieve a realistic interior atmosphere.

This dining set is ideal for contemporary residential dining rooms, boutique hotel restaurants, or high-end cafe interiors. Its versatile black and natural wood palette pairs well with both neutral and bold interior schemes. Designers often search for this type of furniture when specifying pieces that blend organic textures like rattan with sophisticated, dark-finished wood elements. It works effectively in mid-to-late stage design visualisations where a complete, styled dining area is required to demonstrate scale, layout, and materiality within a project.
