Minimalist Zen Garden Scene with Rock Landscape and Bamboo

This minimalist Zen garden 3ds Max scene features a structured rock landscape, bamboo water fountain, and lotus pond. Comprising a curated arrangement of natural elements, this Zen garden scene centres on a textured, dark grey stacked-stone wall backdrop. A quatrefoil-shaped window frame adds a classic architectural silhouette. The foreground is composed of rugged, weathered rock formations nestled within a bed of white gravel, accented by slender bamboo stalks and low-lying shrubs. A traditional bamboo fountain feeds a shallow circular basin containing blooming lotus flowers, creating a tranquil water feature. The composition balances high-contrast textures, blending the organic irregularities of the stones with the sharp, clean lines of the wall and basin.

The download is a 36.3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) scene, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Designed for immediate integration into architectural visualisations, this 3ds Max scene is ready for rendering after standard material pathing. Users can easily adjust the lighting environment using an HDRI or daylight system to achieve the desired shadows across the stone surfaces. The objects are grouped logically, allowing for the quick selection of individual elements like the bamboo fountain or rock clusters if local scene adjustments are required. Ensure all texture paths are correctly re-linked to maintain the integrity of the stone and bamboo shaders.
