About this asset

This contemporary 3-seater 3ds Max sofa features a beige fabric upholstery and an integrated wooden side table with built-in storage shelves. Defined by clean, linear geometry, this contemporary 3-seater sofa offers a functional approach to living room seating. The main structure is upholstered in a neutral beige fabric, providing a soft, tactile finish. A standout feature is the integrated side unit, constructed from wood, which functions as both a side table and a multi-tiered bookshelf. The design includes a selection of decorative cushions in varying shades of green, white, and dark brown, adding depth to the composition. Its low-profile frame and boxy, structured silhouette make it a versatile choice for modern residential interiors.

The download is a 34.6 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this model into a 3ds Max scene, ensure the object is placed on a flat plane to align with floor geometry. The fabric and wood textures should be managed via the material editor, checking that UV mappings are correctly scaled to the model's proportions. Use layers to separate the sofa body from the decorative cushions, allowing for individual control over material IDs and lighting responses. Standard lighting setups, such as a V-Ray or Corona dome light with an HDRI, will effectively highlight the material finishes.

This sofa is ideal for modern living rooms, open-plan apartments, and upscale hotel lobbies where space-saving furniture is required. It pairs well with minimalist coffee tables, neutral area rugs, and floor lamps. Professionals searching for functional seating that combines storage and comfort will find this asset useful for residential visualisations. It fits seamlessly into projects focused on contemporary aesthetics, particularly where a clutter-free, organized look is desired. The integrated shelving makes it a practical solution for smaller reading nooks or compact urban living spaces.
