About this asset

This contemporary 3-seater sofa in 3ds Max features a beige fabric upholstery and a dark wood frame, styled with a collection of decorative cushions. Defined by clean lines and a structured silhouette, this 3-seater sofa sits on a dark-stained timber base that wraps around the perimeter. The upholstery consists of a textured, neutral-toned fabric covering both the bench-style seat and the backrest. The design is accessorised with a diverse set of throw pillows, including solid blue squares, monochrome chevron-patterned squares, and plain brown and cream rectangular cushions. The proportions are balanced for standard residential comfort, offering a versatile aesthetic that integrates seamlessly into various interior palettes without dominating the visual space.

The download is a 12.1 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

The cushions are provided as separate geometry, allowing for easy repositioning or removal to suit specific composition needs. Users should check the pivot point upon insertion and apply appropriate subdivision modifiers if close-up rendering is required. Lighting should be adjusted to highlight the fabric texture and the contrast between the dark frame and the lighter upholstery.

This sofa is well-suited for modern living rooms, open-plan apartments, or upscale hotel lounge areas. Its neutral base allows it to anchor a room when paired with minimalist coffee tables or textured area rugs. Designers frequently search for this type of versatile seating when specifying furniture for staged properties or high-end residential projects. It serves as a reliable core asset for creating inviting, comfortable interior spaces, complementing both contemporary and transitional decor schemes effectively.
