About this asset

This comprehensive collection of SketchUp curtains and window blinds includes diverse styles, from Roman shades to layered drapes. This set features sixteen distinct window treatment variations, including floor-length drapes, tie-back curtains, Roman blinds, and sheer panels. The collection offers a wide range of aesthetic options, covering minimalist sheer white styles, heavy layered drapes with valances, and textured woven blinds. Some models include decorative tie-backs, pelmets, and intricate fabric folds, providing realistic depth and visual interest for interior scenes. Each element is modelled with varied opacity and fabric weight to simulate different textiles, ensuring a versatile library for diverse room requirements, from formal living spaces to quiet private bedrooms.

The download is a 108 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 16 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these components are best utilised by dragging them into your scene and scaling them to match specific window aperture dimensions. Since these are individual files, you can easily load them as distinct components to maintain a clean outliner. Apply custom materials to the fabric meshes to match your project's colour palette, and use the native scale tool to adjust the length and width of the drapes to suit floor-to-ceiling or standard window heights.

These window treatments are essential for residential projects, hospitality suites, and boutique retail interiors where soft furnishings are required to define the space. They pair well with diverse interior styles, from contemporary apartments to traditional villas. Professionals searching for drapery solutions, window coverings, or soft-furnishing assets for architectural visualisation will find this set highly practical for adding realism to interior views, particularly when creating warm, lived-in environments for client presentations or detailed design development phases.
