Assorted Decorative Area Rugs Set

A collection of eight decorative area rugs in a SketchUp model, featuring various patterns and shapes for diverse interior floor finishes. This collection comprises eight distinct area rugs, including six rectangular and two circular variants. The designs feature a mix of traditional damask, geometric zig-zag, horizontal striped, and organic botanical motifs. Colour palettes are muted and sophisticated, focusing on neutral tones of beige, grey, and soft blue accents. Each rug is modelled as a flat, low-profile surface, suitable for placement directly onto floor planes. The variety of patterns provides options for different interior styles, ranging from classic ornamental looks to modern, minimalist, and textured graphic designs, ensuring versatility for multiple room schemes.

The download is a 10.5 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 8 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these rugs are best utilised by exploding the component and applying them as flat surfaces on your floor geometry. Since these are low-profile models, ensure they are slightly offset from the floor face to prevent z-fighting during rendering. Users can easily swap patterns by applying different textures or adjusting the scale of the existing fabric materials within the material editor to match specific project requirements for floor coverage and pattern density.

These rugs are suitable for residential living rooms, bedrooms, and hospitality lobby areas where soft textures are required to define seating zones. They pair well with contemporary furniture, such as minimalist sofas or accent chairs, to add visual interest to neutral spaces. Search for these when specifying floor finishes, interior styling assets, or room staging elements for architectural visualisations. They are particularly useful for designers looking to add character to a space without overwhelming the existing architectural features.
