About this asset

This wabi-sabi arched wall shelving unit 3ds Max model features four timber shelves against a textured curved backboard with curated vases. This wall-mounted display unit features an arched backdrop finished in a light, textured material reminiscent of limewash or rough plaster. It incorporates four fixed horizontal shelves crafted from natural-toned timber, providing a warm contrast to the pale background. The set includes a collection of assorted ceramic vases and vessels in various sizes, textures, and neutral tones, ranging from off-white and grey to earthy clay finishes. The composition is deliberate, focusing on organic forms and artisanal textures, suitable for creating a focal point in a living space or retail display area.

The download is a 103 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Users should verify that the texture maps for the timber grain and the ceramic surfaces are correctly linked in the material editor. The model is scaled to standard wall-mounting heights, though it can be adjusted to fit specific architectural niches. Lighting should be configured to highlight the artisanal quality of the ceramics, using soft area lights to accentuate the subtle shadows cast by the shelving.

Ideal for residential projects, this shelving unit enhances living rooms, dining areas, or master suites where a curated, artisanal aesthetic is desired. It works well in hospitality settings like boutique hotel lobbies or high-end cafes to display small objects or greenery. Professionals might search for this as a wall-mounted display, decorative storage unit, or wabi-sabi shelving set. It pairs effectively with natural textures like linen upholstery, raw stone surfaces, and soft, warm ambient lighting to complete a refined, tranquil interior scene.
