About this asset

This tropical-style ceiling fan SketchUp model features five distinctive leaf-shaped wooden blades and a simple metal central housing. The fan features a central motor housing and a slender downrod finished in a muted brown tone, providing a clean, understated look. The primary focus is the five-blade assembly, where each blade is shaped like a large, textured leaf with a prominent midrib and serrated edges. The wood grain finish on the blades adds a natural, organic feel, contrasting with the smooth metal components. This fixture provides a sculptural element to a room, moving away from industrial aesthetics toward a more relaxed, resort-inspired design language suitable for varied interior styles.

The download is a 50.2 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate this asset, import the component directly into your SketchUp scene and attach it to the ceiling plane using the central canopy base. Ensure the downrod length is adjusted to suit your ceiling height by modifying the component's vertical scale or replacing the rod segment. Apply high-resolution wood textures to the leaf blades to enhance visual realism during rendering, and use the native layer manager to group the fan parts for easy toggling in complex interior models.

This ceiling fan is ideal for residential living rooms, bedrooms, or covered outdoor terraces where a relaxed, tropical atmosphere is desired. It pairs well with rattan furniture, linen upholstery, and natural stone finishes. Designers often search for this style when working on coastal villas, boutique hotels, or vacation home projects. It is a versatile choice for schemes aiming to introduce organic textures into a space without overwhelming the existing decor, providing both functional air circulation and a distinct focal point.
