About this asset

This Zen garden wall scene for 3ds Max features a dark textured backdrop with vertical timber planters and curated greenery. The composition centres on a bold, dark-toned wall that provides a high-contrast backdrop for a collection of Zen-inspired elements. Vertical timber troughs are mounted to the wall, housing lush green foliage, while the ground level is populated with a variety of potted plants, including bamboo and flowering shrubs. The arrangement is punctuated by grey stone pots, concrete-style pedestals, and a piece of weathered driftwood, all resting on a bed of dark gravel. The balance of organic textures and minimalist geometry creates a serene, contemplative aesthetic suitable for high-end exterior architectural visualisations.

The download is a 90.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) scene, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

As a pre-composed 3ds Max scene, this asset is intended for immediate inclusion in larger architectural projects or as a reference for material and lighting setups. Users should check the layer structure to isolate individual components like the planters or bamboo for re-use. The scene relies on high-resolution textures and mapped materials; ensure the paths are re-linked after merging. Lighting is already baked into the file, so adjustments to the HDRI or light intensity may be necessary to match your specific project environment.

This scene is ideal for residential courtyards, hotel terraces, or spa design where a minimalist, tranquil atmosphere is required. It pairs well with modern concrete architecture or traditional timber-clad structures. Professionals can search for this asset when needing to populate outdoor spaces, create detailed garden vignettes, or add visual interest to boundary walls. It serves as a ready-made focal point for exterior renders, significantly reducing the time required to curate and arrange complex, multi-element botanical and decorative garden compositions.
