Zen Garden Collection with Minimalist Sand, Stone and Plant Elements

This 3ds Max collection features three detailed Zen garden scenes, complete with raked sand, natural stone formations, and varied vegetation. Comprising three distinct rectangular arrangements, this collection captures the essential aesthetic of traditional Japanese dry landscape gardens. Each composition integrates carefully placed grey rock formations, ranging from monolithic boulders to complex tiered stone features, set against finely raked white sand patterns. The planting palette includes delicate bamboo-like trees, dense evergreen shrubs, and smaller golden-hued foliage, creating a balanced visual harmony. One scene incorporates a small water feature with cascading elements, adding a dynamic focal point. The assets are designed with high-fidelity textures that emphasize the natural contrast between the weathered stone surfaces and the soft, organic vegetation.

The download is a 202 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 3 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

These assets are prepared as a ready-to-render set for 3ds Max users, allowing for immediate integration into larger architectural exterior scenes. Professionals should manage these as external references or proxy objects to maintain viewport performance, especially when populating larger landscape plots. The materials are pre-configured for standard rendering workflows, requiring only minor adjustments to reflect specific environmental lighting conditions or seasonal colour shifts. Use the individual scenes as modular components to populate courtyards, terraces, or interior atrium spaces within a wider project design.
