Japanese Zen Garden Water Feature Scene Set

This Japanese garden water feature SketchUp scene set features four distinct, detailed landscape arrangements for outdoor design. This collection comprises four distinct water feature arrangements, each embodying traditional Japanese landscape principles. Elements include stacked stone basins, carved granite water spouts, and terracotta-style vessels, all integrated with carefully placed bamboo, bonsai-inspired shrubs, and floating lotus flowers. The compositions are framed by textured stone wall cladding, gravel ground cover, and moss-covered rock formations. Each scene is designed to evoke a sense of tranquillity, with varying vertical scales from low-profile basins to tiered waterfall structures. These arrangements offer a curated balance of hardscape materials and soft landscaping, providing a complete visual aesthetic for exterior design projects.

The download is a 163 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Users can integrate these SketchUp scenes by merging the desired water feature directly into a master site model. Since these are pre-composed arrangements, they function best as focal points within larger garden designs. Professionals should manage these assets using distinct layers to isolate the water, stone, and vegetation components, allowing for easier adjustments to scale or materials. The geometry is optimized for quick rendering, and lighting settings can be adjusted to match the specific time-of-day requirements for high-quality exterior visualisations.
