About this asset

This Japanese garden landscape scene for 3ds Max features a timber deck, a koi pond with stone edging, and decorative metal seating. Centred around a tranquil koi pond, this landscape composition integrates a raised timber deck with marble-tiled steps. The water feature is framed by textured grey boulders and features a small stone pagoda. A lush vertical green wall serves as a backdrop, complemented by manicured bonsai-style trees and ornamental grasses. The seating area includes a set of ornate black metal chairs, providing a sharp contrast to the natural wood tones. Every element, from the varied stone textures to the water surface, is arranged to create a balanced, contemplative outdoor environment suitable for high-end residential villa projects.

The download is a 192 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) scene. Open it in 3ds Max; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Professionals can integrate this 3ds Max scene into larger site plans by merging the file into an existing master project. The geometry is organised by element, allowing for the isolation of the deck or pond components if needed. Users should check the scale against their site dimensions and adjust the HDRI or sunlight system to match the orientation of the villa. Textures are applied as standard materials, enabling straightforward mapping adjustments or light-baking processes for efficient exterior rendering workflows.

Ideal for architectural visualisations of luxury villas, this scene provides a ready-made outdoor living area. It is frequently requested for residential landscape design, courtyard planning, and high-end property marketing materials. Designers often use this asset to populate small garden spaces, patios, or terrace zones where a water feature is required to add visual interest and a sense of calm. It pairs well with contemporary glass-façade architecture and minimalist building styles, often searched for as garden features, pond design, or exterior landscaping assets.
