About this asset

This window treatment set consists of a double-layered curtain system designed for full-height installation. The primary outer layer is a solid, opaque fabric in a soft beige tone, featuring uniform vertical pleats that provide a clean, structured appearance. Positioned behind this are sheer, lightweight white panels that diffuse incoming light, creating a soft, ethereal glow within the space. The drapery is modelled to hang naturally from a ceiling-mounted track, with the fabric pooling slightly at the base to suggest a realistic, weighted drape. The set is presented in a neutral, modern interior environment.

The download is a 70.2 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is best utilised by importing the component directly into your master project file. Ensure the curtain assembly is placed on a dedicated layer or tag to manage visibility during the modelling process. Given the complexity of the fabric folds, users should avoid excessive scaling to maintain the integrity of the geometry. The material textures are pre-applied, but can be easily adjusted within the materials tray to suit specific lighting conditions or to match custom colour palettes for final renders.

These curtains are ideal for residential living rooms, master bedrooms, and high-end hotel suites where a refined, minimalist aesthetic is required. They pair well with floor-to-ceiling glazing or large window apertures, adding warmth and privacy to the architectural envelope. Architects and interior designers will find this asset useful for staging visualisations or creating detailed interior elevations.
