Coastal Terrace Scene with Pool and Pergola

This modern coastal terrace scene for 3ds Max features a concrete swimming pool, timber pergola, and outdoor lounge furniture. This comprehensive exterior scene captures a Mediterranean-inspired coastal terrace designed for leisure. The focal point is a custom-shaped swimming pool with tiered entry steps, finished in light concrete. Adjacent is a heavy-timber pergola providing shade over a paved area, complemented by low-profile, light-grey fabric lounge beds. The material palette is restrained, balancing raw concrete textures with warm-toned timber beams and soft upholstery. Integrated planters and a simple outdoor shower unit complete the layout, while the surrounding landscape elements provide a natural backdrop that frames the ocean view perfectly.

The download is a 1439 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) scene. Open it in 3ds Max; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this scene into a 3ds Max workflow, ensure all texture paths are correctly re-linked upon opening the file. The scene is structured with logical layer management, allowing for easy selection of furniture, lighting, or structural elements. Professionals can adjust the HDRI environment map to match specific project lighting requirements or modify the pool water shader for varied water clarity. Given the file size, use proxy objects for heavy vegetation if further populating the site surroundings.

This asset is ideal for high-end residential, resort, or hotel project visualisations requiring a realistic outdoor environment. It serves as a base for exterior design studies, marketing renders, or architectural competition entries. Designers can easily adapt the scene by swapping furniture or adjusting the hardscaping to suit specific coastal or villa typologies. Search for this model when seeking a ready-to-render, cohesive outdoor space that integrates pool design, shaded relaxation zones, and naturalistic planting schemes for Mediterranean or tropical architectural contexts.
